This is my experience first time coming during the week. It was slow the food was clearly been sitting there for awhile! The major of the food like 90% had no label and some parts of our family had a shellfish allergy Consumable only type of deal, they didn’t have labels ! I went to the desk and the man that was there was not understanding at all that they need to have these food labeled my family member almost grab a food that had shrimp and beef and thanks to a worker that said that’s my favorite mix! That procede them to then ask what was in it. He look like he had to do with management but didn’t acknowledge it and he said he didn’t need to label food and told me to ask them next time. I said that you are required to label food! And he stated that they were not! Not worth $17.99 for that buffet period. Have had way better.

Always great food and service!! Plenty of delicious selections to choose from. Salad bar, sushi, fried rice, fried chicken, ice cream, wonton and egg drop soup, crab legs, chicken on a stick, fresh fruits, lo mein, baked salmon, french fries, macaroni and cheese, pizza, sugar donuts, jello, calamari, scallops, and much, much more. You'll love it!!

Went here during peak hours with a group a couple of times and honestly, i have such a good time. Food always hot, dessert and fruit selection cold, pretty much always filled, and constantly maintained. The best part of these are always the hibachi chef, they never disappoint. Our server was super sweet, and after trying almost the whole selection i can say there is definetley something for everyone. Just make sure youre ready to take a huge nap after the food coma this place hits you with. Best one in Durham by far.

Monday April 13 2026 Kindly expressed to the Inchiban in Durham's manager that the Chinese biscuits were fried too hard. He along with the food preparation shared that the same cook does the doughnuts everyday. I told him that most restaurants would offer to prepare some Chinese biscuits that were not difficult to chew. The manager was attempting to out talk me. He stated mam The cook prepares the food the same way everyday. Food on display was not correctly labeled. I rate them one star 🌟 because customer satisfaction was the least matter on their agenda. I pray that they would seek the advisement of the Greensboro restaurant to learn the importance of customer service. Blessing FYI I have been a customer of all Ichiban restaurant. Never had an experience such as today. The owner must not care their customers are treated for the manager at the durham restaurant had a lacksadesical attitude!!

Probably the biggest Chinese buffet in Durham. The selection is great. The price is a great value for all you can eat. Servers were very attentive and kept on top of bringing fresh food out. The atmosphere was lack luster. Minimal decor and was thrown off by Spanish music being played. It is our go to when we really want to chow down on food.
